Balm for the soul

As Above, So Below

As above, so below, I’ve got to find a way to let it go
So below, as above, I’ve got to find a way to Love
When push comes to shove, I’ve got to find a way to Love (and listen and forgive)

Riled up and beaten down we speak our truth, they try to drown us out
Beaten down and riled up the sick powers must be called out
When we stand together we find a way to stand stronger

To feed to greed you take more than you need it’s a noxious weed, unfit to lead
In my years I faced the fears and made them tools to sharpen my mind
Give away the jewels. I’ve got to find a way (find a way through)

The people have the power
The people in power rest on the shoulders of the workers.
The workers have the power.

From the album

Elizabeth Wolff
